I received my EAD but my spouse EAD did not arrive and it has been more than 2 weeks. The status says Card production Ordered.
I have the same question should I have to wait untill the 30 days have passed to reapply for replacement ead or can I apply before?. Is there any way the process can be expedited as my spouse has to work on this EAD. Any info is really appreciated.

Its really requires lot of planning and a tough decision to make. Some of our friends say you get good package if you find the job while you are in US and then go.

It was just what i needed to make my mind...i am bored to death in this small town finishing my waiver hoping for this piece of legislation.( no hopes of my EB2 anyway:rolleyes:).
Thanks Paskal for letting everyone know the update. IV was a co-signatory with other medical advocacy groups to the letter for pushing Physician's provisions. Please contact Paskal if you wish to join the effort.
There are lot of doctors who are unaware about this and what they can do together to end their long wait. I have met some of them myself and talked about IV and its efforts for doctors. They joined IV effort but the doctor community by and large is still unaware of this effort and scattered.

Yes, ICICI bank do not allow more than 4 part pre-payments in a year. I am not sure if it is a calendar year. You can ask ICICI for the part pre-payment terms. When I inquired, they sent me a PDF file.
I had this issue because I wanted to pay-off my loan to avoid the increasing interest rate. Mine was floating. The officer who sold me the loan gave some misguiding concept "interest rate will go down when the economy is booming". But the reverse happened after I took the loan. I had a floating rate of 7% in Sept 2004. But within a year and half it almost crossed 12.5%.
I will try to find the email that ICICI sent regarding the part pre-payments terms.

However, I can't help but feel slightly envious. The ducks approach me too, but as soon as I whip my camera out they dart away (only to return as soon as the camera is safely tucked back into the bag again).
OTOH, I don't bring duck-food with me... :)
On a more serious note: Aren't you afraid of making them a tad too tame? Won't they become easy prey once the wabbit season is over and duck season starts? (Crispy duck tastes extremely good, but I try to avoid eating duck if I can help it -- they're just too cute! :D)

This employer already hurt you by revoking your 140 and seems like you are not a big fan of his. Why don't you file a WH4 form with DOL for Feb'08 to Apr'08 salary. That way it becomes your ex-employer problem and you can explain your status all the way from Jan'08 to Apr'08.

For the 8 months I worked in 2008 I got a total salary of 50,000 based on annual salary of $75K. This is less than the prevailing wages. Since my W2 is only $50,000 I'm worried about my immigration prospects. My previous employer withdrew my I140 application. I�m in my 6th year and just started my Labor process with the new company.
My current company is ready to help me, but they cannot run any payroll for last year, but can provide bonus for last year to make the total of last year up to $60k. They are a small co. and have never done this before.
How can we include this bonus in my W2 (I haven't filed my taxes so far, the company also hasn't filed their 2008 taxes)

In any case this poll is only to get a feel of how things are out there. A wrong vote here or there does not matter
As long as 2003/2004/2005 folks who have already-filed stay in low numbers it might indicate good PD movement in those years (since numbers wont be used up so soon and USCIS/DOS might have to move dates forward to start pushing out approvals. New people will then file and the usage will climb and dates slow down again).
If, on the other hand USCIS is sitting on tons of 2003/2004 PD I-485s, then date movement is going to be slow

Banks send you the 1099-INT form which is allowed on H1B. This is different from the 1099-Misc form google sends you (http://www.adsensetaxes.com/) which makes Adsense a business income. That is not allowed on H1B.

I am in the same boat, changed my mind to apply for AP in the last minute and mailed my application on Aug 16th, USPS messed it up and couldn't deliver it on Aug 17th, tried delivering it on 18th but didnt since offices were closed finally delivered it on 20th.
Now my AP application got rejected citing that I should have applied with new fee of $305 starting July 30th.
What is confusing is where does it says post marked by Aug 17th? I thought USCIS had to receive it by Aug 17th.
write the following on the envlope using marker
DO NOT OPEN IN THE MAIL ROOM
and address the package to director of the service center also include the evidance that you have applied when the visa bulliten is current

What if USCIS didnt have this nonsense LUD field in their online status, won't you have lived in peace?
TRUE! My LUD is also not updated after FP so do not know when they update the LUD. One thing you could do is to contact FBI verifying the status.
Also, FP is valid only for 15 months so there is a good chance for a 2nd FP based on current backlog.
