Well, since I wanted everyone to use my watermarked picture, it was not the best idea. Most people quote their sources, but some don't. As Consomac is still a rather small website, consequences can be huge for us. ;)

I still can't get why Apple uses Safari. Totally doesn't fit in their 'good, innovating software' thing. I'd expect Opera to be made by Apple.
But opera is full of bloat features and doesn't perform at all macishly..
I have issues with Safari too though, on a lot of sites I visit it's unreasonably slow in comparison to Firefox/Camino.. The Firefox 2 betas are shaping up great. :)
I'm not sure of the point of the resizing text box thing.. i've never wanted that to be possible whilst using any browser, safari or not. The new tab stuff sounds very handy though!

This app: movie montage http://www.findleydesigns.com bills itself as iphoto for movies. (quicktime only I believe) It is a crippled free version but check it out.
Very cool thanks for the tip on that. It will work for 5 minutes at a time with some other minor limitations. Purchase price is $10 which seems pretty fair.

One thing I forgot to point out earlier is that the base price of the new Jetta and Passat is lowered by a huge amount, but (at least in the case of the Jetta) the diesel version @ $22k isn't really any cheaper than in the previous version.
Now, with the Jetta, we know that VW saved a ton of money by fitting the antediluvian 2.0 8v engine. But the base Passat comes with the 5-cylinder. I wonder how much the diesel will cost in the Passat?
if you really like hot hatches: Fiat finally delivers the ultimate hatchback car ;)looks like Ferrari desperatly needed their own Panamera ... now jsut wait untill ferrari releases a SUV

Start a thread about hypermiling and we can discuss (but I'm still skeptical, the hybrid Altima can exceed 50mpg).

I just dl it and its awesome! this should be picked up by apple its super handy. sometimes i have 4 camera apps open that i am using and i hate having to find them so this is a saving grace for me.
