i have an 80gb ipod classic, when i eject it from my computer it says "ok to disconnect" ... and then a meter goes across the screen and it goes into the normal (usable) screen.

so is it ok to disconnect when it says "ok to disconnect"

or do i have to wait for the meter thing to fill?

this isnt even a big issue its just sort of a pet peeve that i have, for the record i usually just wait the 5 seconds for the meter to fill. its just weird that it tells me its ok before the meter starts.

I got a video from my dad and realized the the iPhone compresses video before it sends off in an MMS. Is tere any way around this. I am not jailbreaking. But feel free to post jaibroke solutions in case I feel like I need to jailbreak in the future. Thanks!

Where do I find the TV out settings on my ipod nano? My goal is to watch slideshows I create with the macbook on my TV. I've read that I can move the slideshows onto the ipod and use RCA cables to view on the TV. Is this true? Any other suggestions or better ways to accomplish this goal? I also have an iphone 3gs if that works better.

Pity those who live a long way from the server, ouch! I notice a difference when I switch content providers from Manchester to London (I'm based in Manchester) on Steam. I don't think this data centre is for use outside the US...

Steam seem to have a fair few data centers themselves. I guess the Apple equivalent will have a drop down with one entry.

4.3.1 is terrible on the 4th gen iPod touches. Home screen animations lag and more often than not skip totally. battery life is down, apps from the multitasking tray aren't usable upon switching to them for a few seconds - it's just terrible.

Thankfully, I had been jailbroken so I'm back on 4.2.1.

Who needs a phone with a touch screen? Unless Apple wants to only sell a $500+ phone which most people would not throw down the cash for, this will most likely never happen.

Just imagine what the cost of one of these screens would cost, and how much it would cost to get replaced if it broke.

Wait, I thought the "Castle in the Sky" saying had a negative connotation ? :confused:
