Anyone here able to get this card working with Lion? I'm running Lion DP2 (with all current updates), and I can't get it working in my 2010 Mac Pro -- nothing I plug in, is being recognized.
Interestingly though, if I go into the 'PCI' section of the system profiler, the card show up properly (even showing that the driver is installed).

Samsung know they are in trouble with the Apple suits, and rightly so. But instead of just defending the suit against them, they are making stuff up to get back at Apple.
What it is, is childish.
you really should go look up how it works before you start insulting us.
I was not talking crap. That little tid pit I put in about the filing only if getting pissed off and sued came form our resident patent lawyer on these boards who explain why many times you only see law suits after they get sued. They go into the file if sued by so and so bring these up.
That is why many of these patents are filed away and never really sued unless antoher company starts pissing you off or acting childish like Apple. It gives you more leverage to use against them in their lawsuit against you.
I do find it funny. Fanboys cheered when Apple sued Samsung but Samsung responds and now called Samsung childish.
Fanboys call Kodak pantint trolls when they sued apple.
Fanboys cheer when Apple sued Nokia but booed about Nokia sueing apple.
Noticed a pattern there.

I gave blood about 1.5 months ago. I can't give again for another 1.5 months.

I thought the same thing until I watched the streaming keynote video. MacRumors really ruined my day by misquoting Steve. I was super hyped all morning about hearing a lot about the Mac, but Steve actually said (and I'm partially paraphrasing):
"2007 is gonna be a great year for the mac, but that's all we're gonna say about it today. over the next several months we're gonna be rolling out some awesome new stuff for the mac... but for today we're gonna move on"
Had MacRumors taken the time to get that one tiny bit of information right in their live text feed, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset about the whole thing as I was. They built my hopes up very high with that remark and it really ticked me off.
I, too, kept waiting for him to move on to software or something Mac-related. That error in the text feed made my disappointment even worse.

:( Is it possible to retrieve changes that I made to a document that I was editing on textedit. I had an exam open I my desktop and was halfway through and when I went back to it this morning - half-asleep - I accidently clicked don't save (don't laugh). Now all I have is the orig version with just the questions. Is this lost forever? AAhhhh.........any help is much appreciated

I don't get why Americans like bigger cars. Maybe it's the old mantra of bigger is better? Myself, I have a honda civic Si. It's a fun car to drive; a little lift-off oversteer when you want to fool around, good handling and road holding when you want to go fast. It may only have a measly 160 hp, with 130 Ft/lbs torque, but it'll get me from 0-60 in under 7.5 seconds (almost 2 seconds quicker than a v6 charger) if I do my part massaging the short-shift 5-speed. Super stable even at top speed (140 mph) Best part? I put 10 gallons in when the fuel light comes on, and I'm good to go for another 300 miles. Super easy to park because it's so small... AAAND it's a honda, it'll run forever :)
Ok, I rambled a little bit... If anything, VW should be sending us more of its european fleet. Give us more R32's and sexy sexy sciroccos. Send us some phaetons if you want a larger car, or better yet, why not get an estate?

E3 Xeons are basically for entry level workstations and servers. You will likely see their consumer versions in the new iMacs - Core i5/i7 2000 processors.

This really reminds me of when ipods launched. People then were also saying too expensive/where's the need/existing alternatives.
This is another launch like that: I was looking at getting a Nokia E61 over a Blackberry as the email support was better. I was also interested in Three in the UK's X Series as it offers Skype, Yahoo etc. But the iphone blows all that away.
I can't think of a single product with the same significance as the iphone will have. Not just because of what it can do but because it's from Apple. In 2-3 years this will be the phone everyone has like now the ipod is the music player everyone has.
To Steve it really must feel like starting over.
Imagine taking for granted that your friends/contacts/family/customers/clients will be on email/online wherever they are let alone that you will be too.
From every angle this is going to change how businesses are run and how we interact with each other forever.

Anyone have any info on lines at either Coconut Point or Waterside in Estero/Naples? so far? I'm at work till 6 and the wife's gonna wait in line once grandma can get to the house to watch the kids. Update would be appreciated!
