Sorry if this has already been covered but I did search and didn't come up with anything..
I just bought a 360 and I'd like to set it up to stream my movies/media/etc. but on the xbox it says I need a media center PC.. is there a way to do it with my PowerMac?

Meanwhile, us poor souls in Blighty will finally be getting LoveFilm on our PlayStation 3s in November. (http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/13/ps3-and-lovefilm-make-it-official-streaming-movies-to-consoles/) I'm sure it's nowhere near as good as Netflix but at least it's something.

New Iphone user, Please Help, Iphone 3GS can not restore any ipsw, Error 3194.

After WiFi stop recognized network, I choose to reset Iphone network?
After Iphone reset, I tried run with blackra1n version RC3,
From that time I can not restore any IPSW files. It gave an Error 3194 or see below log messages.

Hi guys. I use Coda to develop and i noticed that when i use an apostrophe (') in sentences that the user can read it comes out as "��".

It's sad to see an "old timer" leave Apple, but I'm guessing that Serlet's financially set and wants to do some "pure" research at a university before he retires. Not everyone has that luxury.
It seems that OS X will be left in good hands, though.

I have applied for and recived my passkey and I am using the macrumours team code the name i am using for folding is fiddlesticks_13

Two GT120s will be able to drive up to four displays (2xDVI and 2xmDP). eBay (http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=NVIDIA+GT120&_sacat=See-All-Categories) is the best source for GT120s at the moment, they go for around 100 bucks.

Limiting the number of ipods a movie can be played on will do absolutely nothing to curb piracy. It is merely
an errosion of what I consider 'fair use'. Heck, the existing
itunes DRM is too restrictive already - once I buy a movie, I should be able to view it anyway I damn well please, be it on a single ipod, multiple ipods, PSP, laptop, tv, at a friends house, burn to dvd, encode to another format, whatever. The only thing I shouldn't be able to do is re-distribute the movie.
What needs to be done is to figure out how to prevent movie downloads from being re-distribued while preserving 'fair use'. The movie industry needs to hire less lawyers and lobbyist, and hire tech people to figure out better ways to do this. Bittorrent is open source - it amazes me with the source code right in front of them that the industry hasn't figured out how to make files un-torrentable.
Until movie downloads are offered with minimal DRM restrictions and offered in a much higher quality HD format, I'll pass and just buy the DVD.

just seems to me that people are acting like its a feature that shouldn't be on a phone rather then one that is almost standard. it also just seems that IM's are quicker conversations then texts, but maybe i'm wrong about that cause on phones it's pretty much the same thing.

The 3G iPod opened the doors to all users. The mini added even more style and portability to it, making it very popular. The nano held even more songs in a smaller package with a color screen. The 5G iPod delivered all of the above with the ability to watch TV shows and movies on it. Each iPod has brought something to the table that's new and kept competitors guessing what they would do next. Advertising an iPhone, a major step for them, with instant messaging won't cut it. That's already out there. Up until the release of the 5G iPod, you couldn't buy TV shows legally on the internet. Instant messaging on your phone is offered by all of Apple's potential competitors should they decide to enter the mobile phone market.

I love the Sidekick. It's been a hugely successful phone. I think it was great that the SK3 added music, a 1.3 MP shooter, and EDGE, but I do agree they could have at least kept EDGE in there. I think Apple would be smart to make a device similar to the Sidekick. This doesn't mean that they need to make a swiveling screen, (even though it's been patented a million times by Danger) but I think people are starting to warm up to smartphones now. My generation (teen) and my sister's (early 20's) are especially. I have heard that Apple may be launching two devices: one simple phone and a smartphone, which is probably smart because not everyone is interested in a smartphone.

Here in the UK we would love capital punishement to be reintroduced, a life for a life as they say.
There have been countless miscarriages of justice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_miscarriage_of_justice_cases#United_Kingdom) proved since the death penalty was banned in the UK and probably many others which have not yet been successfully appealed.
Many of these innocent people would have faced the death penalty, does that not concern you?
